  • Carroll Vista, Taneytown, MD
The Carroll Vista community in Taneytown is planned to include more than 500 units of active-retired residents. The clubhouse we designed, with a lounge, workout rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, craft areas and meeting rooms, is a true community center. This view of the clubhouse and its vaulted canopy greets visitors as they enter the community. Photography by Howard Doughty.

  • Hampstead Police
After sharing space for years with the town offices, the Hampstead Police enjoy their new location in a historic bank building we renovated on Main Street. Photography by Wayne Camlin.
  • Montessori
We designed the new Montessori School of Westminster with clerestory windows to bring natural light into its central corridor.
  • PNC Bank, Hampstead, MD
Our newest branch bank, for PNC at the Hampstead Marketplace.
  • Piney Ridge
The main entrance to the Piney Ridge Elementary School in Eldersburg is on a split level, which allowed the lower level to be built into the hillside on this tight site. Photography by Wayne Camlin.
  • Portico, St. John Church, Westminster, MD
After St. John's Catholic Church built a new church, they hired us to convert the old octagonal church building into a dining hall, which was later renamed the "Portico." This view of the hall features the radial beams reflecting the original roof structure. Visible on the right is the supporting bulkhead for the new retractable partition, which can divide the room in half for concurrent events. Photography by Howard Doughty.
  • Random House
We have completed many projects for the large distribution warehouse for Random House in Westminster. Seen here are the truck docks on the face of Building 4. The tall, striped addition beyond is Building 5, which has a super-flat floor to accommodate the 65-foot-tall forklifts operating in the building.
  • Random House
Renovations to the Executive Offices included this employee cafeteria.

  • Westminster Rescue Mission, Westminster, MD
The new 30,000-square-foot facility for the Westminster Rescue Mission was a design-build project aided by the Carroll County Bureau of Building Construction. The sprawling rehabilitation facility includes dormitory rooms, a chapel, gymnasium, commercial kitchen and dining room.
  • Tuscany Square
With a bright new facelift, this former factory building on Baltimore Boulevard awaits its first tenants.
  • Westminster Square
Though designed to fit in well with its downtown Westminster location, the Westminster Square building is completely new. Built as part of a cooperative development venture between the City and Tyler-Donegan, Inc., the building features commercial space on the street level, topped by three stories of residential condominiums. It is backed by a 163-space parking garage. Photography by Howard Doughty.
